Flag retirement ceremony

American Legion Congaree Post 90 and the AL Auxiliary Congaree Unit 90 will host a free community Flag Retirement Ceremony Saturday, April 24 at 6 pm at the Congaree Rodeo Arena.
Families may bring their worn and tattered flags, which will be folded in the traditional triangular fold.
After the ceremonial burn, families will be invited to bring their flags to the fire pits for proper disposal.
The Sandy Run Post #156 American Legion Riders will also be there to assist.
