State lawmakers have appropriated money for statewide covid-19 testing.

This makes free tests accessible to all in Lexington County and the state.

Free testing will be at the Parole and Pardon Building on Greystone Blvd. every Tuesday, Friday, and Satur day in August.

Testing will be from 8 am to noon each day, Sen. Dick Harpootlian said.

No appointment is needed.

The tests are conducted by the Medical University of SC, Prisma Health, DHEC and the SC Hospital Association.
