Jeff White has opened a new barbecue restaurant inside the Lexington Walmart.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is the fastest growing franchise in the US with a deal to put them in all Walmarts.

Dickey’s serves a Texas-style pulled pork BBQ with 4 different sauces for varying tastes, ribs, brisket and even vegetarian fare.

Dickey’s will add a breakfast menu in early 2020. They offer daily specials and catering.

General manager Savannah Almay said about 300 people attended the grand opening.

The restaurant is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
