Cindy Saylor and the Friends of the Swansea Branch Library plan a book sale 9 am - noon Saturday, April 24 at the Lifelong Learning Building at 297 North Lawrence Street in Swansea. Books of all kinds will be available including fiction, non-fiction, biographies and youth/childrens books.

Ms. Saylor said bags of books will only cost $5. For teachers with their school IDs, a free bag of books is available for their classrooms.

THE SWANSEA Bi-Rite grocery is accepting applications for cashiers and stockers. Hours vary and all applicants must clear a back ground check.
