H.E. CORLEY STUDENTS GO GREEN

Posted

H. E. Corley Elementary has added 4 oak trees its school campus. The trees were gifted from the Irmo Arbor Day Committee. The Town of Irmo Public Services department planted the oak trees around the playground area with the assistance of students in the school’s Montessori magnet program. The Town of Irmo is a member of Tree City USA and works to maintain the town’s tree canopy cover. The SC Forestry Commission also donated 450 oak trees to the school for students to take home and plant at their homes.
