Hey, is this the Cry Baby Generation?

I’ve kept my mouth shut and my views to myself. I don’t want to behave like the intolerant MeToo Generation or the precious snow flakes with their need for protected spaces and censoring conservatives. But recent cry baby tears on the left and other Millennial moaning has gotten to me.

Many – but maybe not all – Millennials think they have it tougher than anyone else in human history, Bosh!

The Greatest Generations survived the Great Depression and 2 World Wars. They had it tougher than any generations since.

The Silent Generation survived the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, Cold War threat of nuclear annihilation, race riots and assassinations without a whimper.

Gen Xers dealt with the Me Generation, the AIDS crisis, the lasting effects of the Vietnam War, the energy crisis, rising inflation and several recessions.

Many of these people, seeing their own struggles as exceedingly trying, have little empathy for the Millennials’ problems but here’s what they belly-ache about:

• We have all this student loan debt.

• We majored in subjects that don’t lead to a job or a livable income.’

• Online dating is unreliable.

• We can’t afford a new iPhone.’

• It’s cold and uncomfortable sleeping in Mommy’s and Daddy’s basement.

• I know what I was born with but don’t know which gender I really am.

• No one understands my problems.

It’s is a tough life, kid. Deal with it.
