The holidays are usually a busy time for all of us. This year will be different as we have the corona virus with us. For some the holidays will be a stressful time as they deal with the loss of a loved one.

Beulah United Methodist Church in Gilbert is offering a grief share program, “Surviving the Holidays.” This free 2-hour seminar is designed to help those grieving a loved one’s death. Whether your loss is a family member or friend, this will help you progress through the holidays.

Topics include how to deal with emotions, what to do about traditions, helpful tips for family and social events and discovering hope for your future.

“Surviving the Holidays” will be led by Mary Rowell Sunday, Nov. 1 4 - 6 pm at the church. This program is offered to anyone. For more information call 803-892-2842.

WILSON OXNER will receive the rank of Eagle Scout Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 pm at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Oxner is a former member of Gilbert Scout Pack 60. Scouts and their families will attend.
