A new Assisted Living and Memory Care facility has opened in Lexington.

Lakeside Place Senior Living held a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Thursday, August 8.

Many Lexington Chamber of Commerce members were on hand to help celebrate.

The ribbon was cut by the first 2 residents, Marie Bagley and Robert Heil.

Lakeside Place offers both assisted living and memory care for residents. There are 66 units and up to 80 beds.

There is also a therapy department, beauty shop, large activity room, and a general store for residents. The most unique feature is a “Grandchildren’s room.”

They are located at 487 Hwy 378 in Lexington.
