The winningest head coach in Blowfish history was recognized this past Saturday for leading Columbia International University to the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association national title. Lexington County Blowfish pitcher Dalton Mims, a graduate of Airport High School and rising sophomore at Winthrop University, pitched 4 2/3 innings of relief, allowed 1 run and struck 6. The Blowfish lost in 10 innings 8-6 to the Spartanburgers. THOMAS GRANT JR. | CHRONICLE

As part of Princess Night at Lexington County Baseball Stadium, a group of “princesses” along with the Miss South Carolina Watermelon Queen winner, took park in a parade prior to the start of the Bottom 3rd inning this past Satuday.
