Lexington Medical Center opens new vaccine site

Lexington Medical Center is moving its covid-19 vaccination clinic location.

Currently, vaccines are administered at Brookland Baptist Church in West Columbia. This location will close after Friday, June 11. Beginning Monday, June 14, the vaccine location will be at 139 Summerplace Drive in West Columbia.

The vaccine will be available at Summerplace Drive Monday – Friday noon to 6 pm. The vaccine is free and walk-ins are welcome. Age 12 and up are eligible.

In addition, the location will offer covid-19 testing Monday – Friday from 8 – 11 am. Appointments are required for testing. They can be scheduled at www.LexMed.com/COVID .

If you have questions call 803-739-3363 Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm.

To date, Lexington Medical Center has administered more than 84,000 doses of the covid-19 vaccine. The hospital thanks the community for its support as it works to keep everyone healthy and safe.
