Marvin J. Hendrix

Lexington—Graveside services for Marvin Jacob Hendrix, 84, were conducted January 20, 2019, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family received friends following the service in the Parish Life Center of the church.

A lifelong resident of Lexington, Mr. Hendrix passed away, Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born October 7, 1934 to the late James William and Irene Gunter Hendrix and was owner/operator of Hendrix Auto Parts. He was a member of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, former member of Lexington Lions Club and Lexington Rotary Club and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. He also served in the US Army National Guard.

Surviving are his wife, Zoe Bundrick Hendrix; son, Mark J. (Cindy) Hendrix; daughter, Amanda Hendrix Ayers (Charles); grandchildren, Matthew J. Hendrix (Allison), Nathaniel E. Hendrix (Kym), Zoe Ayers; and great grandson, Miles J. Hendrix.
