The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber and Visitors resumed its in-person breakfast meetings in style.

Gov. Henry McMaster was the guest speaker at the February meeting at Stone River meeting facility.

Chamber CEO Tim James and Chairman of the Board Haley Bowers pulled off a minor miracle in getting McMaster as speaker.

The governor reflected on South Carolina culture and how businesses are drawn to locate in our state.

McMaster discussed covid-19 vaccines, our senior population and getting more money flowing to state technical colleges, investing in broadband and tourism. He also answered questions about road repair and getting teachers vaccinated.

The chamber recognized Lexington Medical Center with a proclamation for 50 years of serving the health needs of our residents.

ATO LTD was named the 1st Business of the Quarter. ATO LTD is an industrial maintenance and paper supply business in West Columbia.
