East Point Academy will offer students a Spanish Immersion program.

Elaine Ruiz, a Spanish teacher with 15 years’ experience, will teach it.

Ruiz has an Undergraduate degree from Bob Jones University and a master’s in counseling.

The school also offers a Mandarin Chinese Immersion program.

East Point anticipates a future that includes comprehensive global studies for students’s careers.

School Head Mark Bounds said that “the world is becoming smaller every day. Our students will compete all over the world as adults. We will prepare them with the skills needed to be successful in school and life”.
