Have you seen Steel Magnolias? You must go. Being presented at our Villages Square Theatre, it is most entertaining in Southern content and classic local expressions.

Set in Truvy’s old fashioned “Beauty Shop,” Director Jeffrey Sigley says: “Everyone has a favorite play and Steel Magnolias seems to be a the top of many people’s list.

“These 6 women are sweet on the outside but strong inside.”

The show will on Thursday, Friday, Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets at www.villagesquaretheatre.com

RJ May, town Councilman Steve Baker, and Ron Williams, Byron Thomas of Congressman Joe Wilson’s office and her colleagues from the Columbia Chamber Carl Blackstone and Susan Vaughn McPherson.

Gen. Michaelis said the delta variant is attacking his 10,000 trainees and 3,500 soldiers. The fort needs about 200 employees, in public works and dining. He is working to keep wages competitive to recruit talent,

Ambassadors of the month were Ben Fuller of First Citizens Bank and Joel Merrill of Flagship Design.

Ann Bull reports: Nan and Don Aull said the Ice House crowd prevailed over rain and the Embers were fantastic. This week’s free concert is by Sol Fusion at 6:30.
