Now who’s calling whom a Nazi?

National Public Radio has been airing highly politicized reports about the care of illegal alien children.

Shrill Democrats and other leftwing activists rant on air about how abuse of these children is “President Trump’s policy” – not a federal law passed by Congress.

In emotion-charged voices, they claim the children are “caged.” Some have Downs Syndrome and other disabilities.

The ranters say they are horrified that these children have been ripped from the arms of their weeping mothers.

Chronicle readers have contacted us about these news reports, some of it on Educational TV, too. They say they expect this kind of “fake news” from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC. They are private companies and can do whatever they think their preferred audience wants to hear and see.

Readers say this kind of nonsense from a radio outlet that they pay for with their taxes makes them angry. Why, they ask, does Congress continue to send their money into this “on-air Washington swamp?”

Here’s a sample of what has our readers upset with NPR:

“Does the Trump administration have a policy of separating families at the border?” NPR asks. “Yes, according to the Texas Civil Rights Project, the children were taken away under the pretense that they would be getting a bath.”

That was then compared to how Nazis treated Jewish families in concentration camps.

NPR does not mention that this is federal law or that thousands of illegals have been streaming into our country for years at massive taxpayers’ cost for public assistance.

They do not mention that the taxpayers are paying, by government accounts, $35,000 a year for the care of these children.

We have asked Congressman Joe Wilson and Sens. Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott to let our readers know what they think should be done to end what readers feel is abuse of the taxpayers’ money. If you’re concerned why not ask them, too?

Chronicle readers are angry about National Public Radio’s distorted newscasts.
