Outstanding Young Banker honored

The SC Banker’s Association as honored Vaughan Dozier of 1st Community Bank as the SC Outstanding Young Banker.

Past recipients include many prominent South Carolina bankers, including 1st Community Bank’s CEO Mike Crapps and Columbia Regional Market President Drew Painter.

As Lexington Regional Market President he has 15 years experience in banking.

He is a graduate of Presbyterian College, the SC Bankers School and Leadership Columbia. He serves on the SCBA Young Bankers board, Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church chairman of the finance committee and as treasurer of the Cayce-West Columbia Rotary Club.

He has served on the board of the River Alliance, Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and the Presbyterian College Alumni Association.
