The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening at their office Dec. 2 for VestraLingua Publishing.
Vestra Lingua - meaning “your words” in Latin - is an independent, no cost book publisher.
They design picture books for children and adults, fiction series for preteens and inspirational books for and by parents.
Owner and operator Lisa Cole said, “I am passionate about strengthening education and excited to champion literacy through great books by local talent.”
District 4 teacher Brady Howard read to the group of kids in attendance from “While Mommy was fast asleep,” the first book published by VestraLingua.
