The Meadow Glen Middle School football team, coached by Ben Jackson, won the 2nd annual Lexington X Middle School championship on Nov. 10 at Batesburg-Leesville High School. The Gators posted over 200 offensive yards and 3 touchdowns in the win over Batesburg-Leesville Middle School. Among the top victories were over White Knoll (37-0) and rivals Beechwood 38-22 and Pleasant Hill 38-8 within the same week. Key players included quarterback Parker Murray running backs Trace Nettles and Darius Caine, wide receiver Cam Whitten, linebacker Blaine Fender, defensive end Eric Johnson and strong safety.
