On Saturday September 8th, 2018, Deborah Blanpied and Betty Carson represented Lexington’s Granby Chapter of SC National Society Daughters of the American Revolution during the wreath laying ceremony at the 237th Anniversary of the Battle of Eutaw Springs in Orangeburg County. A Patriotic Service was held in the historic Church of the Epiphany with a historical presentation by David P. Reuwer, historian, attorney and Camden municipal judge. The Wreath Laying Ceremony followed on the Eutaw Springs Battle Monument Park ending with a cannon volley.
