Lexington County students, teachers and staff will have to wear masks when schools reopen.
The SC Department of Education is buying cloth masks for teachers, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers and students.
The masks will be available on school buses, where they will be required.
The state has ordered gloves, hand sanitizer and other protective equipment for school districts.
The face covering requirement will follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
