This week finds the Quail getting ready for Thanksgiving. I visited the Hen House to see if there was anything I could do for them since they had to delay their fall quilt drawing and sale. They told me they are planning one soon, so stay tuned for their announcement.

I flew down to Wagener for information from the Mayor and an update on their Fire Department closing. The Mayor told me a fire call was received and response time for departments covering the area was quick.

It turned out there was no fire yet it is good to know that the Wagener area is covered with a good response times.

The Quail and his photographer assistant Ramie decided the War Eagle football playoff game was too far but results will be printed in the next edition.

The Quail wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and hopes all have a good time and are safe during this holiday.
