A Keep the Midlands Beautiful project
If Jamil Road looks cleaner now, you can thank a group of volunteers.
They picked up more than 50 bags of litter along Jamil Road near I-26 in Lexington and Richland counties Saturday.
“This is an opportunity when it comes to trash,” Keep the Midlands Beautiful organizer Daniel Ashley said.
“We had a decent turnout of individuals who want to make the area better.
“We appreciate B106.7 radio coming and playing music while we worked.
“Thank you for your support.”
