After being closed more than a year our Gilbert-Summit Senior Center is open.

Director Donna Neel told her members they are open under Phase I for members only.

Due to covid, they keep attendance low and are open 4 hours instead of 6 with social distancing.

Members will have a month of arts and crafts, seniorcise amd games. They hope to go to Phase II in August and will use a van to drive members who cannot drive. She hopes Phase III will come in September.

Centerville Elementary will give free supplies to students at no cost to families using Title I funding. The school asks parents to provide a lunch box and water bottle for their children.
