We’re #1 in covid-less restrictions

The fear-mongers may not like this but ...

South Carolina is #1 in fewest covid-related restrictions.

That means more of us were able to go back to work.

More of us were able to shop, go to the doctor, you name it.

More of us had our children back in school getting a better education.

SC is not alone.

More states such as Florida and Texas are opening up.

The personal-finance website WalletHub has released updated rankings for the States with the Fewest Coronavirus Restrictions.

To identify which states have the fewest coronavirus restrictions, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 14 key metrics, said Diana Polk of WalletHub.

The data ranges from restaurants open to required face masks and temperature checks.

Corona virus restrictions in South Carolina (1=Fewest, 25=Avg.):

• 1st – requirement to wear a face mask in public

• 23rd – workplace temperature screening

• 1st – state guidance on customer health checks at restaurants

• 1st – travel restrictions

• 1st – large gatherings restrictions

• 1st – strictness of “shelter in place” order

• 1st – reopening of nonessential businesses

• 1st – reopening of restaurants and bars

• 1st – working from home requirements/recommendations
